This is a party-sized prepared mix that's bursting full of flavours associated with festive period, which makes it ideal for hosting a festive gathering. Save the extra cordial for breakfast cocktails, desserts, or to make additional servings of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 guests
To make the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Place the listed ingredients in a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Next, turn off the stove and let it to cool entirely. Decant into a clean bottle, seal keeping it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around one month.
To make Premix: Mix every spirits and syrup into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base to a stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute until cold. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and finish by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
